November came so quickly and left just as fast! It truly has been a whirlwind since we've been back in the States. We haven't stopped traveling since we've been back. It has been really good to be with family and for family to finally meet Naomi. Some of our good friends also have had the opportunity to meet her.
Mommy is doing really well. This pregnancy has been smoother. We've met with our doctor twice now and really like her. We only have 7-8 weeks left until Nora Rayna enters this world. We hope Naomi adjusts well to having a little sister. She really likes babies, so we hope she will like her sister just as much.
Since being back, Naomi's newest phrase is "It's cold!" We are enjoying the cold weather because we never get to experience cold weather overseas. She continues to amaze us with how fast she's learning new things, words, and phrases. With all the transition, Naomi has been a trooper and is doing great.
We feel like we may be experiencing a little reverse culture shock. When we walk into Wal-Mart we have so many choices now it is hard to make a decision. Sometimes we just want someone to say "pick this one."

Nathan's family came up to see us in KC the first weekend of November. This was Naomi's first time to meet her grandparents, great-grandparents, and aunt. Here she is with Grandpa.
Daddy and Naomi playing peek-a-boo.
This was Naomi's first time to play in the leaves. We got back just in time to see the colorful leaves during the fall.
Four generations of Nance's
All of the playground equipment is just a walk away from our back porch. One of Naomi's favorite toys is the car there. In the beginning, she called the car "vroom-vroom." She really enjoyed it when Daddy pushed her for a little drive.

This shot of Naomi is hilarious because there was a cat and dog at the pumpkin patch. She would call the cat to come to her, but she really didn't want the cat too close. As you can see she's reaching for the cat but wouldn't go any closer.
Our good friends came up to our apartment to visit. This is Mr. Joe and Naomi. We warned them that Naomi would need a little warm-up period, but she went right to Joe.
Soon after we arrived the warm weather disappeared and some colder weather came in. After a couple days of really cold winds and temps, it warmed up enough to take Naomi outside again. Here she is all dressed and ready to go play!
We had the opportunity to go to Springfield for a short trip and we visited Grandma Nance's kindergarden room and school. Naomi really enjoyed Grandma's class. Here she is with Grandpa Nance in the tepee.
We went back to Grandma's school to see the students. They put on an Indian dance for Naomi and sang. When they went to P.E. Naomi got to play with some shakers and other toys.
Bath time in the States has been different because it's like she's in a miniature pool. She likes her bath time and going "swimming."
The Alexander's had a Thanksgiving meal together and Naomi got to meet her uncles, aunts, and cousins. Here she is with Uncle Ryan (Nina's younger brother) wearing his hat.
We went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Tapp's (Nathan's grandparents on his mom's side) for Thanksgiving. Naomi's helping Aunt Natalie make the green bean casserole.
