Painting, Playing, Pampering...
The girls love to paint...we just have to ration it since it's difficult to find washable paints. Some friends gave us some finger paints. The girls are not that impressed with the feel of finger paints. I think they'd much rather use a brush. I like for the girls to take their clothes off while painting because they tend to get it everywhere. Nora even manages to get it in her hair.
Play, play, play...our days are filled with play. The new game that Naomi has wanted to play everyday this week is "hide-n-go-seek." It's rather humorous because she tells us where she is going to hide. Sometimes she just tells us which room, but she has her favorite hiding spots. Nora just follows me and usually gives me away pretty quickly. Nathan says that we play "theatrical hide-n-go-seek." I walk into a room and ask "Where is Naomi?" She has learned not to say anything. I look around the room, "no she's not there, etc." Finally Nora gets down and says "There she is Momma, " very proudly. It's fun.
We were down on the floor playing with Nadia this evening. I had mentioned that she is starting to hike her leg, well, she continues to do that but now she is actually scooting...backwards! Ha! She is mobile with rolling and scooting.
Nathan pampered me this evening by cooking me dinner! It was quite a treat too. He made salmon-very delicious. The girls were not that impressed with the "salmon chicken." We tried, but at least they took their no thank-you bite. They ate yogurt instead.

She smiled for the camera, but after the picture she was ready to wash her hands and paint with a brush!

Nadia is very interested in whatever you are holding or that she sees that draws her attention. She is grabbing at everything, even the girls' hair, but they put their hair purposefully where she can grab it. Then Nora says "Ahhhuu Nadia!"
Nadia loves being on our back porch where she can watch the trees rustle and sway. It calms her down if she's fussy.
Daddy had a long morning then came home and made us food! What a super amazing husband and Daddy! We love you!
