Last year we started a tradition with the girls to do a Jesse tree so that they can know the Scripture that leads up to Christ's birth. We want them to understand that Christmas is only about Jesus birth. Oh how beautiful of a story it is! Salvation given to all man kind through the Messiah who came in the flesh of Jesus! How marvelous, how humbling, how majestic!

Going along that them, we found a book through a friend that does Christmas crafts leading up to Christmas that focuses on the story of Jesus birth. Today we talked about how the Isaiah 9 passage speaks of this coming Messiah and how He will reign as a King. We are making crowns to remember that Jesus is our everlasting King.
