We are celebrating Nora's first month of life this week (well actually in a few days since February doesn't have 29 days). Lots of things have happened this week. Nathan's family (parents, grandparents, and Aunt Natalie) came up to visit us over the weekend. It was nice to have the extra hands around. Naomi enjoyed playing with everyone. We had a fun time with them. Nora has still been extremely fussy and congested. It got worse over the weekend too. We called urgent care on Saturday night (2/21) to ask some questions. We decided not to take Nora to the ER. We are going to take her to the doctor on Monday. Nora cooed and smiled for the first time on Friday (2/20). That really warmed our hearts. Daddy and Mommy both got to witness her first coo and smile. On Sunday(2/22) Nora tracked Mommy when she got up and walked away.
On Monday (2/23) we took Nora to the doctor. We really thought she had a cold. The doctor checked Nora out and said she didn't have a cold. She was healthy. She said based on the symptoms we were describing with Nora, Nora had reflux. She told us to put Nora on medication (Zantac) twice a day and to add rice cereal to her milk to thicken it. This helps keep the milk down better because she was spitting up milk and getting very agitated with it. She said we might not see a change until a week after we start the medication. We are hoping this helps.
Naomi has been doing great still. She amazes us with all the words she is forming and sentences too. On Friday (2/27) Naomi wanted to pray for the first time. So we helped her and she repeated what we said. It was so cute.

And Nora being mad. Naomi had climbed up by Nora to try to help her calm down. She's always concerned about Nora, letting us know if Nora's crying or not.
