It's hard to believe just a year ago, I gave birth to this little girl. Time is flying by for us. She is such a blessing. She really does bring us a lot of joy. For the big day we woke up, ate breakfast, and opened some presents. It was so much fun. Naomi likes anything with buttons and this particular toy has lots of buttons!

~She finally tore into the present and for awhile was more interested in the paper :)

~Naomi opening up some presents. We celebrated her birthday with our friends. We had to help her quite a bit in order for her to open presents. She had fun playing with the toys she got!
~Hear we are singing Happy Birthday to Naomi. I think this was one of her favorite activities for her birthday. She loves songs.
~This is her first piece of cake. Nathan had this kind of cake on his first birthday, so I made it for Naomi's first birthday also. It's a yellow cake with strawberry jello soaked in, vanilla pudding on top, and whipped cream on top of that (yummy). However, Naomi didn't know what to think of it. She was actually rather tired and ended up taking a nap first.
~This is Naomi after her nap. It still took her a little while to figure out if she really wanted to eat any of the cake. Nathan and I would take a bite and she thought that was funny.
