Naomi Rae - Month 10 Highlights (January 17 - February 16)

Naomi is our little sweetheart! We have been tremendously blessed to have her in our lives. We are learning so much more about our relationship with God and being His children as we train Naomi. She is doing great and learning new things all the time. She can stand by herself, but has not made her first step yet. When we returned from Jakarta, she started eating a lot more table food and likes feeding herself. She really enjoys playing peek-a-boo. She will bring a blanket or toy down from her face and say "bah" which means "boo" in Indonesian. She also enjoys being around people and chatting in her own little language. The week of Valentine's Day she started saying "bye" and waving good-bye.

This was an Indonesian wedding (with the bride and her mom). Naomi was actually frightened because the bride gets really dressed up and does not look like her usual self. Everything is big, bright, and overwhelming for a little one. ~
